My brakes have been giving me hell. I got 9 inch drums. In the last 2 months, I have replace a wheel cylinder, shoes, drums, hardware, and self adjusting cables. Today, me e brake was sticking really bad. My left rear drum was at 269 degrees, thats how i knew. Both e brake cables needed replaced. So I replaced them today. My driver side was sticking with the old cable, now my passenger side is sticking with the new cable. I am out of ideas on how to get that cable to work any better. Any ideas?????

I got the same problem, It seems like there are to many turns/curves in the right cable.
My Fix: Park in gear and carry around a wheel chock
Cost: $0
Tip: Use chock under LF/LR tire. Run over chock, reach down grab it and, throw it in the bed, to release Parking Brake

make sure you have the cables routed properly, and maybe back off the shoes a bit?
