ok so i have a 2.9 with 241K in my 89 ext cab 4wd. it has 3.73's, 7.5 rear with a L/S and the TTB d28 open. would 31.10.50 r15's work good? doggy? horrid gas mileage?
 
Depends. I hated 31s with 3.45s, now that I have 4.10s, I don't think I would want any higher gearing, gas millage depends too, I lost 2-3 MPG for moving up to 31s, it really didn't get any better with 4.10s. 3.73s will work but it's not ideal.
 
i think i mite just stick with the stock size tires on it for the moment....i got my other one for wheelin
