How do I get the stock plastic mechanical fan off of my '92 3.0L Ranger? It looks like it is pressed onto the fan clutch. I am not too quick to just pull on things. I lost my Chiltons for the truck and I am thinking of ordering a Helm Publications service manual for the Ranger B4 I try to replace the fan and clutch.

Remove the clutch from the water pump with the fan attached. The fan is bolted to the BACK of the clutch and won't come off with it installed.

Cool; thanks for the intel:)!!! I am going to Never-Sieze the bolts for my new radiator so I can take this apart easily when I replace the mechanical fan with an electric unit.
