96 Ranger Which Axle

I have a 96 Ranger Xlt 4.0... What front axle do i have. I couldnt find it in the tech forum.

so how would i swap this over to manual locking hubs... As in where do i get the kit from. Or where do i get the hubs from (donor vehicel)

You can buy the hubs new or find them in a junkyard, we aware that D28 hubs will NOT work, you will also need the wheel bearing nuts and lock rings from the donor vehicle or they can be purchased new as well.

Explorers are good donor vehicles as they are guaranteed to have the dana 35 front. If you are going to buy new get the "Jeep" lockouts and buy the parts for the kit separately. See the sticky above for details on that.
