For several years I've been using a USB card reader for transferring "RAW" files from my CF memory cards to my computer.
Well, this past weekend, my USB card reader bit the dust, so I was looking for a replacement. I ran across this ExpressCard
CF Memory card reader, and was impressed it was 5X faster than USB 2.0. This will come in handy when transferring the large
"RAW" files (~16MB each) from my D300. ExpressCard 34mm, and ExpressCard 54mm uses the PCI-E bus on the computer.
Well, it arrived today, and it's at least 5X the speed of the USB reader! I thought I would share some photos of it:
Here is the link where I purchased it:
(must be popular, I ordered mine on Tuesday, and it's out of stock already)
