I recently replaced the battery cables on my 91 ranger 4.0 and the truck will turn over and start but there is a very bad squealing noise present. Before I replaced the cables there was no squealing noise but the truck would only start once and a while, other times it was like the battery was dead and I got nothin. The battery is newer and fully charged as well.
