i need help fast. i blowed up my cv shaft over the weekend in my 87 bII 4wd 5 speed. no problem till my 84 ranger died on me this morning, she wont start, and i think shes done. yup i got-r-done. aint got no way to work and i gotta fix this fast.

ok i need to know what the factory shaft length is because oreillys shows they have several lengths of aftermarket real shafts with real ujoints, listed as GKN conversion. i dont understand their descriptions and the truck isnt here to measure from tcase to axle. i got saggy springs too for now.

can someone help me with this?

Why can't you measure flange to flange on the CV shaft? It is the same.

.

yeh, im a dumbass, i just called where i left my bII to have them measure for me and they told me the same thing.

the ones at oreillys are 202 to 232$, i found a shop that will make one for 217 or fro 20 more a longer slip shaft so when i replace my saggy springs it wont be too short.
so thats what im gonna do, thanks for the fast reply.
