What is the best way you clean those foggy yellow lights?
I have tried toothpaste, that is good for about a month. Been thinking about getting my 2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper out and soaking it in a slight soapy water solution and gently sand my one yellowing headlight to attempt to make it clear again. I have seen this product in Wal-mart for $20 to clean the headlights, but just don't know how well it will hold up. Any one here have a home remedy that works?

I read somewhere on the TRS forums that someone used Mother's chrome polish successfully by hand rubbing with a rag for 20 minutes, but I never tried it. What I will use when I get around to it is a stick of special buffing compound made for plastic along with a 4" diameter cotton wheel and electric drill. I got mine at MSC supplies.

at the body shop i worked at i used rubbing compound and then a polish/sealant with lots of elbow grease.it would last for a few months.i don't know how long the kits you buy at auto parts stores last.

I just did a mazda a few weeks back, came out great. Two different grit sandpapers, then a polish, then some kind of clear coating, all in the kit. Didn't really look finished until that final coating of whatever was in that last envelope of goo.

Ive use Miguars clear plastic cleaner/ polish, comes in a white bottle and its kinda looks like spicy mustard, worked alright considering I didn't put to much effort into it, Im sure if I worked at it it would come out great.
