slowing down

Compared to the start up on this server after the little org, com debacle, yes it has been a little slower. Since yesterday for me, some times a little lag sometimes quite slow. But......beggars can't be chosers.

I have also exprienced some downtime. There were a few times over the weekend it wouldn't load at all.

Jim, from now on I will make a list of when it is slower than normal or down.

was way slow a few minutes ago (back to normal now) timee out 2x and multiple refreshes. all is normal again now.

I noticed it got way slow to respond (30 sec. or so) right about 6:32 PM (PT). Remained slow for about 10 minutes, then has been fine since.

Yeah, it was between 7:00-10:00 PM for me, nothing at all would happen (just sat there forever waiting for server, although a couple times I got a "can't find server" message on my browser, too).

Seems nice & quick right now though.

Jim, about 11:30 last night it took an average of a minute and a half per screen load. I thought it might have been my computer, called John and Dave, the have different ISP's and they had the same response.

Reaching the site isn't a problem. It is when you click on a thread. It takes a full minute to get a response. As if the database is slow.

I just went in to the server at 1:00am and restarted Apache to get the site going again. It had been dead fo at least an hour.

Been talking to the hosting company. They checked the site and server. There's a problem somewhere an they're going to start working on it.
