HI, my name is Pedro and I am building a street/track 5.0L ranger.
I've owned this truck since I was a teenager and this is my first rebuild/conversion. I am doing a full frame up restoration of my 1994 Ford Ranger splash.

I am a welder-fitter with a little mechanical experience. But I am not a mechanic and I will need some help. I am so glad to find this forum. I am hoping that this forum will help me learn along the way.

Welcome Pedro. You came to the right place. There are several on here from Canada that have built 5.0 rangers. Even more that do a lot of work on RBV's.

We won't hold any of that against you!

welcome, where do you live?

Yes, welcome to TRS...plenty of info...and I will start by giving you some advice that could save you some money right off the bat...since you are doing a frame-off restore...
:icon_welder:

DON'T try to cut the body bolts with a torch unless you're sure you can do so without destroying the rubber mounts...unless you've got a line on some replacements or are thinking of replacing them anyways...

OEM mounts can cost well over $600 if you buy them from Ford...I learned the hard way...:icon_surprised:

Anyways, ask questions freely and I'm sure you will get the right answer or someone on here who will direct you if you need help... or :icon_pepsi: if you don't drink beer!

Welcome Pedro. I'm a Canuck too. I've spent a tonne of time around V8 Rangers both building and fixing them. Feel free to ask questions; the 5.0L and I are old friends LOL.
