Bump stops, 6" lift, Skyjacker, Daystar

I have a Duff 6" lift on my '97 Ranger. I need to see some pictures of Skyjacker or Daystar bump stops on a TTB. I've had my lift on for about a year and I'm just now considering bump stops.

I have never understood bump stops like that. They don’t help like the recoiling ones for jumping, right? All they do is inhibit up travel, so what’s the point?

So you don't destroy your shocks, or rip their mounts off? (for many people, keeping the drop-plate lift bracket from busting the differential housing open is another)
