Skyjacker Leafs

That is expensive for the Skyjacker 4" lifted leafs. You can get them from Summit for $199 (http://store.summitracing.com/partd...4294839061+4294839818+400135+115&autoview=sku). Crap you can get the Skyjacker 6" lifted leafs from Summit for $212 each.

Remember, to get the 4" of lift with those you have to run the factory lift block. If you need 4" of rear lift (if you have a 6" front lift), then I recommend getting the 6" lifted leafs (http://store.summitracing.com/partd...4294839061+4294839818+400135+115&autoview=sku) and running NO blocks. That is what I did on my '97 Ranger.

When I was getting them for my Ranger, Summit was the cheapest place to get them.

Skyjacker no longer sells the leaf springs as a pair, you have to buy them seperately. FR34 is the 4" part # and FR36 is the 6" part #.

They do sell them as a pair through this website and 4 wheel parts. Just bought the 4" through 4 wheel parts

4 hundred something seems a little steep for a pair of leaf springs at the moment. I'm going to the junkyard tomorrow to get some chevy leafs and see what i can come up with. Thanks for the info, its exactly what i was looking for.

You wont buy any aftermarket lifted leafs for less than $400.

The ebay posting says that factory blocks are no longer needed

They are wrong. The part #'s on those is the FR-34. If you want 4" of lift with them, you need to use the factory block. I know this from experience, not guessing.

Plus, that eBay listing is for Mazda springs, I dunno if they will work with a ranger.
I don't know all that much about the B-Series compatibility. Might work though.

The '94+ Mazada's are Rangers with Mazada badges.

Mkay.
So if I needed a part for my '93 I could pull one of a 94ish Mazda?
Thats good to know.

And sorry for the threadjacking Joe, at least it was slightly connected to the origional post.
