Can someone please tell me how to get bearing races out with minimal tools?
Thank you!

Flip the hub over and use a long punch to drive them out from the other side.

Here's what dumprat is saying...

Get a hammer and a straight piece of steel and knock them out by hitting them on the lip from the other side.

If one hit doesn't take them out, just work your way around the bearing race and it should pop right out.

how about going back in straight?
hes worried about them going back in straight guys.

if you don't have the right sized bearing driver or press you can take a brass punch and hammer, and tap lightly around it to get it started fairly straight.just try and not get it cockeyed on the way in and make sure its FULLY seated in the rotor. go nice and slow its easy to tap too hard and get it crooked.if you do just tap on the high side gently.

And then when it's started.. use the old race on top of it to drive it home.

o the old race is a good idea. I got them in. just used a piece of wood with equal hits on each side. Thanks though guys!
Mods can delete this, i just needed it before i went to work.

Yea, I always use the old race and just work from side to side until it seats. The tone of the race will sound different when it bottoms out.
