Recently I purchased a 1989 Ford Ranger XLT, and as usual, the first thing I did was give a full tune up and replace all fluids. The valve cover gaskets and the oil pan gasket needed replacing and I did that too. Then today, after driving my new found beauty to Home Depot, she would not start. No turn over, no RRRRR.., no power at all. Also, while a customer was helping me to jump start it, nothing happened...nothing. Not even the standard electric discharge. I was able to crank the truck with the use of his battery. I know the altinator is fine, and I just purchased the battery yesterday, but something is draining the power from it...any suggestions would be great.
