I just put a 3" body lift on my 93 ranger. I've got a manual trans. When I ordered the lift the salesman asked me if I wanted the shifter extention. I told him no because, I thought it would just be a cheapo thing I could probably have built myself anyways. My question is has anybody been through this before? Does the extention go at the trans? Can you get away with not cutting the floor or shifter boot? What have you done with the lower boot that is stapled to the floor?
. If I buy the extenstion will I still need to do some trimming? On my NEW shifter boot. What about that lower boot, the one the shifter fits over at the trans. did you guys just eliminate it?
