Damn, boy. You got a big.... sentence. Please figure out how to write, using punctuation.

I only ask why that was even posted here, and what was said. This site is for TRUCKS, not home improvement.

Part of what air conditioners do is remove humidity, which is what the dripping water is. That is normal. Best to make sure the unit is slightly angled away from the window (the outside a bit lower than the inside) so the water doesn't run into the house or soak into the window sill.
It gets very humid here in PA. I drilled an extra hole in the base of my a/c unit at each rear corner so the water would drain out better.

they do remove humidity and heat, eject it outside.if the house is already 85,the a/c is probably doing all it can.is it 115volts or 230volts?how many square feet are you tryining to cool?

let the moisture drip,it's called condensate in the trade and thats normal.if you drill holes for the condensate to exit,be extra carefull to avoid nicking or drilling into the condenser and piping.it is soft copper and under high pressure, especially when in operation.

if the filter, and coils are clean the temp drop across the evaporator will be about 16 to 20 degrees at reasonable room temps.at 85 degrees, well it's going to run for awhile.
