bronco 2

i have the opportunity to buy a bronco 2 for about 200, i dont know much about it except the trans or axle is locked up and. i dont know the year or milage or anything else except its an automatic and it cranks and it ran great up until the lock up. i heard about it from a buddy of mine which is why i cant tell you more. my question is, is the bronco worth buying?

I say yes. Whether you want to fix it or not its still a great deal. Its worth more than that in scrap alone.

$200.00 is a good price IF the body is in halfway decent shape considering all else that is wrong based on what you know. There are plenty of stock parts available for these trucks as well as anything to build it up. I have 6 of them myself with 3 on the road running great & 3 being used for parts. If you need anything let me know. Regardless what a lot of people might say the Bronco IIs are still alive & very well today.

If you don't want it, I do, lol.

If it's fairly solid, I'd get it. Jack up the rear and check the axle, most likely it's the a4ohhelld (a4ld) tranny though. Replace the trans with a rebuild or a junkyard tranny and run it.
