Slaves interchange???

I was wondering if the whole clutch assembly (master to slave) from a FM146 will work with with the 88 Mazda tranny? I'm guessing not, but I was just curious. I've got an 87 FM146 that I'm throwing in a 4.0/A4LD and an 88, throwing a 4.0 with the mazda tranny that needs a slave. Just curious, thanks!

Better get your model numbers right.

There is no such thing as an '87 FM146. And it makes ALL the difference which it is.

If it were me, I would NEVER install a used slave. It's too much work to get it back out when you find out it doesn't work.
