Power Steering Pump whining when turning AC on

Hello,

On a hot day, when turning the AC on, I get this more than usual whining from the Power Steering pump. I was wondering how could I fix this. I recently changed the belt so I wouldn't think it has to do with belt wear.

Any help would be much appreciated.

BTW, My truck is a 4WD '94 Ranger STX with a 3.0 in it...

Replace the pump with one that hasn't been run on air.

The only reason it whines more is because the belt is doing more work with the A/C on.
