Ok, so my Ranger doesn't really look like an off-road type truck. It's more street scene look. Sorry, that's just the way i got it. Anyhoo, my ignition is worn down to the point where the only key i need to really keep is the one to unlock my doors. In fact, the ignition will turn to acc. better without the key than with. So, i thought "why not just get push button start?" Then i thought "how the f*** would i install it and where the f*** would i install it?" See, i'm only making minimum wage ($8.60/h) at a sh** job and working about 14-18 hours a week, so i'm not exactly rolling in the dough. That's why i wanna do it myself, but since i'm electrically/body-moulding/styling retarded, i thought i might as well ask some people who actually might have a clue what to do before i go and screw my truck. As for the amp, where would be the best place to mount one in a supercab and what way would be easiest to wire it: under-the-carpet method or under-the-mouldings-and-trimming method? So, now that i've wrote my friggin novel-of-a-question, my hands and fingers are exhausted so i'll just shut up now and simply say:
"help?"

If your ignition still works wait and save up for a replacement there not too much for your year of truck (check Canadian Tire), start buttons get old fast trust me.

Canada is not small, where abouts are you from?

Delisle, Sask. I got the truck from Alberta so I got a lot of extras for very little money (paid $1500 for the truck)
