front axle

how do i tell what front axle i have i looked on it and cant find the axle code? but i have a 1999 ranger 4x4 offroad package with a 3.0 v6?

so in the back i take it i got a 8.8 28 spline im changing both out to 410s front and rear and putting a locker in the rear if i can find one cheap.

the front dana 35 whats the spline on that set up
 
IIRC it's 27 spline. Check out Aussie lockers, they are around $250. Your rear may be a 7.5, only 4.0 trucks got the 8.8 but supposedly in 98+ some supercab 3.0s got 8.8s. You'll have to visually ID it or read the tag.
