my mom bought a kia sprtage 4x4, and since she bought it about 11 months ago, she has put it in the shop 8 times, and last night her car wouldnt start at albersons, and her 4wd hold light was blinking on teh dash, so i told he her car was killed in assembly what a piece of junk, and my mom says my truck looks/ runs like a beater. atleast mine runs.
 
hell yea, i wrather have a beater that runs than a car payment, much less a car payment for a POS>

oh yeah and the check engine light is on, what u guys think is wrong with it

Check and make sure the engine is there!!!!
 
Perhaps it's time to check your states lemon laws.
 
i had a sportage, was given for free. I HATED THE DAMN THING except it was a free car. about the only thing i liked on it was the transmission. only part that didnt give me trouble. your moms sportage is closer to a hyundai then the one i had. if i had to guess it might be theft security related.

the only problem we have with our kia is that we have to fill it up like every 2 or 3 weeks.
