removing axle shafts on Dana 35

I'm replacing the third member on a 93 ranger. Can I pull the axle shafts thru the knuckles or do I need to remove the knuckles to pull the shafts out? It looks like the joint assembly is to big to fit thru the knuckles.

think about that for a minute.

yeah the shafts come out....makes it alot easier to pull the knuckle :icon_hornsup:

the longer shaft side has a c-clip holding the inner shaft in place so dont try and yank it out.

You can fit the shaft through the knuckle. Just takes some working.
