wheel fell off brakes close to floor no leaks

My front drivers side wheel fell off this morning and now my brake pedal is very low it will still stop but it only stop the vehicle 1/2 inch from the floor there are no leaks..(we tested it for a half an hour) the break shield may be in the way of the caliper but i doubt it
