clicking noise

ya i have a weird clicking noise in the pass. side front wheel like something clicking together and everytime i hit a bump it gets twice as loud. I was wondering what it could be o and i have a 99 4x4 ranger
 
Could be any number of things.

Does it only do it when you hit bumps? Does it have a rythm of is it a random thing?

We will need more info to help out.
 
ya it pretty much only when i hit bumps i even jacked it up and pushed up and down on the tire and nothing but when im cruising down the road it sounds kinda like steel hitting steel like those stress ball but its like really fast like a rattle?
