i think this is the appropriate place for this, not sure if not move it if u choose to

but i hear all this and that about an SAS but to tell u the truth i dont know what an SAS is, so could some one please explain to me what an SAS is

Well yes and no. Yes what's in the rear of your Ranger is a solid axle. No because a solid axle swap refers to swapping out the independent front suspension or twin traction beam axle with a solid front axle.
