Replace shifter clip without replacing cable? (pics)

Hello all, the truck (2000 Ranger, 4WD auto, column shift) began showing the wrong gear when shifting, so I hopped under to check the linkage. It seems that the plastic clip that holds the shifter cable in a bracket and keeps it rigid has broken and no longer allows the cable shift to properly. Can I replace the broken clip without replacing the whole cable? What would it be called? Part number?

i could be wrong but it looks like it's all one pieceand if the shifter works other than not staying in place then you might be able to wire it in place with stainless wire. for grins and giggles though i'd be checking out how much a new cable is and whether or not they come with the clips but as i said since it looks to be all one piece i would assume it would have the clips

Hello

I used zip ties on my TV cable on my T-Bird about 10 years ago and it still good to go. Go and buy some heavy dudy zip ties stay away from the cheap ones so you dont get stuck out in the middle of nowhere. Get the ones that they use on semi trailers.
