Hello from Seaside Oregon. Just got rid of my 1983 Ford F150 ( still running well 
and bought a new 2008 Ford Ranger XL. Torch Red, Super Cab, Cruise/Tilt, A/C, AM/FM Stereo and CD Player, Privacy Glass, Buddy Seats, Sliding rear window, 2.3 Four Cylinder, 5 speed overdrive automatic transmission. Taking in on the road tomorrow for a drive from Seaside to Seattle about 195 miles. My first tank of city driving returned 22 mpg, my second tank returned a little over 21 mpg. I hope to get 26-27 mpg on the road. Really love this truck and see why so many of you do. Gizmo
