So what do you think of the improvement?

Actually those are just to hold the truck up while my brother switches them two at a time this week at work. I will try to get pics tomorrow after at least two of them on the same side are put on, and yes the front one is a split rim (spare off of my dad's IH pickup) I just couldn't resist with the hidiousness of how the truck looks now.
Here are the rims I got for it:

i like the one on the right rear... what is it 4 inches wide?

It is pretty close to that, it is even studded. I tried to find a size on it because I have never seen a traction tire that small but there isn't anything on it. It is the only one that came on my parts truck that was still holding air, or else I would have used something else.

But I finally an easy way to end the lovely left lean that older Rangers get, the bed sits level but now the axle is like /

i found a tire like that in my back yard, along with a leaf spring that look like it was off of a model T. maybe the whole thing is buried back there or something?

my buddy has those SAME wheels on his 93 looks pretty sweet.. cant wait to see some pics.

I am betting this one used to be one of someones snow tires for their car back in the 70's.

Model T's had skinnier tires yet with wooden spoke wheels. This one is way too new for that, it is even tubeless.

i know, but there has got to be some kind of vehicle back there! i doubt that the model t's had 5x4.5 lug pattern as well.;missingteeth;

Good looking old truck. The wheels will make it shine !

For a second there, I was like "Is he serious?!?!?!"
Then I scrolled down and saw the rest of the post.

Nice rims, should look pretty nice.

I got them put on, I am impressed with how they changed the entire look of the truck. I am short 4 new lug nuts (my old ones were messed up), but I did get 16 new shorter ones that are for a newer Ranger with alloys, and I have new center caps coming for the front, they are supposed to be in Thursday. I put the 10 nuts I nabbed with my Explorer 8.8 (I have yet to install) to hold on the front ones. I will post new pics after I get it all finished next weekend, and will hopefully find better lighting.

what do you think about the mud rovers?

what do you think about the mud rovers?

They make some noise, but are not afraid to rearrange the terra firma. They are my first mud tire though so I may be wimp on the noise scale and I did get them used, but for what I payed for them ($60/tire) I am thrilled.:yahoo:

Thanks for the compliments so far.

They do pretty good in the mud, they just keep digging. Don't run on too many trails but I would expect similar results.
