so i lost 5th and reverse on my toyo tranny outta my b2. so i took it out and my mechanic replaced the shifter pin that broke on me. then my buddy and i installed the tranny. added fluid and when i went to start it up, i had ZERO clutch pressure. it wouldn't build for me either.

how did the clutch change when all i did was rebuild the tranny. we didn't even touch the throw out bearing.

I am assuming you had to disconnect the hydraulic line to get the transmission out.

It probably lost it's prime while disconnected.

Try bleeding the clutch.

the bleeder is the one on the top of the bellhousing right? i couldn't feel hear or see anything coming out. air or fluid... maybe its clogged?

wow. bleeding the clutch isn't the easiest thing i have done.. any suggestions on how to get it done. i have read all the articles, and understand what needs to be done, but my buddy and i have been bleeding it for quite a while with no sign of progression. my mechanic said maybe a mittyvack.(sp). would this help on my b2?
