well, after i got my old truck back.....i figure now would be a good time to post the NEVER BUY STUFF FROM PINEYS thread........

list a reason you have for not buying stuff from pineys

1. Becuase the rear hitch was only welded on with a single bead
2. becuase they did away with the proper steering setup on the truck
3. becuase they cut off the nice exhaust it had
4. becuase they ran 44's on the truck
5. becuase they couldnt figure out a hydraulic clutch setup

What's piney's?

How about a reference.

Piney's are from the indeginous New Jersey Pinelands. These pinelands are very unique in that there are only 2 areas in the world that are like that. I forget where the other one is. It is a very, very large area that covers a lot of south jersey. So named for the expanse of pine trees, sandy soil, and small freshwater creeks. The people who live in them are known as piney's. I have spent a lot of time around there, i live right on the outskirts. I love the bumperstickers you sometimes see on mostly lifted trucks, "proud to be a piney from my head down to my hiney"

Or stacked blocks and hockey pucks?

well, it had stacked blocks in the back, thats one right man
it has no rear brakes, another sure sign of a piney truck(no just no functional....NOT THERE)
there are more zipties then screws in the truck
and ther is more things welded then bolted in the truck

oh ya, cant forget, ratchet straps used for EVERYTHING

Interesting. I think I live in the other one.

The soil is like beach sand. Ponderosa pines everywhere; they are normally high altitude trees, but it's only 650 feet here.

California, northern central coast.

But it ain't full of rednecks.... you'll find many times more excessively expensive Prii than duck taped chopped Broncos. Though there are occasional "interesting" sightings, like the 6x6 army surplus wood hauler....a small but significant number of early-70s Toyota and International SUVs.

Thats like Bailey Colorado. It's still 1979 there.

I'm a piney from my head down to my hiney...born and raised, I love it here.;missingteeth;

I can vouch for the zipties, duct tape, and everything welded together though, we see that everyday.

well, u should come help another piney out gettin this hunk of a turd together lol
