Chrome Clean Up

Well, I am currently rebuilding a street legal dune buggy and I am reinstalling some lights. The head lights were at one time chrome, but have rusted over the years. What suggestions do you all have for either cleaning them up.

thats down to the metal, no way to save the chrome now.

buzz them down with a wire wheel and paint 'em to match the buggy.

Yeah thats too far man, buy new ones or sandblast/glass bead then spray em with black paint :icon_thumby:

alright thanks guys. I new thats what I was gonna have to do, but I just needed confirmation. Oh well, gloss black they will be.
