Anyone know of any good ones? ones they prefer? in your opinion add to a low rumble?

exhaust tips do very little to effect sound (the further a device is from the engine, the less effect it has on sound).

that said, ive got cheapo "muffler tips" (fiberglass packed) from wal-mart, because i had a slight "whistle" due to my scavenging. they only helped a little.

Go stainless whatever you get, chrome or chrome over stainless won't last as long. I got a cheap chrome tip for my Ranger that gets maybe 5k miles a year and after 1 year it is orange, and I don't drive that truck in the snow either. For a newer truck I would get the 15 degree rather than the slash cut, that is the one thing I would change about my F-150's setup. But then I have only had the truck back from the shop for 5 hours so I may still have to get used it. I got Magnaflow tips and I think they look really good, I ordered them thru O'Reilly's and they only took 3 weeks to come in.

What I kind of wish I had:

I actually prefer the 45 degree slash cut, in fact I'm going to advanced auto tomorrow to pick up a black slash cut tip for my ranger

They are growing on me, it just seems the points stick out from the curved bumper a tad too far.

yeah i cant decide. I like how both the slash cut and straight cut ones look. also cant decide on doing a si/do or si/si out. either way its coming out before the right rear
