Hi there, I have used TRS alot, but I decided that I should just join. Now I can post and ask questions. I was wondering if anyone out there knows if the progressive 2V carburetor has the same base as the 1V. I have an 83 2.3(140) and was wondering about doing a carb switch as to get rid of the carb with the elctric metering. It has a low-end rich-stumble that I would like to get rid of.
I have 2 RBV's the one is the 83 Ranger 2wd, the other is a 93 Explorer which by the way surprises the crap out of me evertime I get in the hills with it. It is like a mountain goat, that is IF IT IS DRY.
