Any one know about Geo Storms?

I have a 91' geo storm 1.6l SOHC(single overhead Cam) with a blown head gasket that I was told I could swap an Isuzu Impulse 1.6l turbo engine into without any modifycations. I was curious if anyone know if this is true. Also if it is then do I need to swap the wire harness with the engine or will my stock one work?

You will almost certainly need to swap the complete wiring harness and the rest of the emissions system.

If that's the same 1.6L SOHC I have in my Prizm (4A-FE), it really isn't very hard nor very expensive to change out a head gasket on it. BTDT. Flatten and pressure test the head, though. You can even reuse the head bolts. But of course you should fix what caused the head gasket to blow. Bad water pump?
