When I drive slowly, like in a parking lot and drive over even the slightest bumps, I hear a knocking sound from front suspension.

Also, when driving over a dip or gental rise in the road that makes the suspension extend and compress in a smoother motion, I get a UUU (long U) sound.

What component(s) could be the problem? I have 32K miles and stock suspension.

Thanks

I would start with the shocks. My OEM's were changed out in about 12 months. After that, you"ll have to start looking for bushings that are worn. Still got the warranty?

Thanks, I took it in to a independant garage and they said the sway bar bushings needed lubed. That took care of the wooo sound. They said the suspension is in manufacturers specs.

Your probably right on the shocks. My Mom's Toyota highlander was making the same knocking sound from the rear and it needed new shocks.

depending on what year and motor is it it may be the catalytic converter hitting the trans cross memeber. My 92 did that when I went slow. I just fabbed a new cross over pipe and got the cats off the cross member.
