I know it is going to take a bit of trimming to make them fit... but I'm hoping the end product will be worth it!
My new 37x13.5 15 PitBull Rockers on beadlocks. I'll let you know how they do in the rocks and mud of Alaska.

TTB has served it's time in hell. It is time to move over and let big brother take over. Tired of all the maint. it takes to keep the TTB alive!

most people are familiar with fender trimming....but that focus is going to need hood trimming to stuff those bad boys.
i cant beleive your going 44. first you ditch the 3.0 and now this? :no2:

I'm anxiously awaiting the build pics
I've been saying the same thing as of late. Not too long ago I was a huge advocate for "tuning" the TTB suspension to work well offroad. I've since decided that no matter how much you try, you can't actually get a turd to shine....
EDIT: at least not at the 6" lift height.

Dang! Not many posts in this forum if this is still near the top! I haven't made much progress yet. I have been working on getting my pilot's license and it is taking most of my time. I haven't even gotten the axles built yet. Soon though!

Sorry. I picked up a new hobby that has been taking up all my time. Airplanes are freaking EXPENSIVE! My poor truck is still sitting in the same spot as those pictures!!! I did work on it a bit the other day and plan on putting some time into it this weekend. We'll see how far I get!

TTB is indeed gone. I'm just tired of maintaining it. I can't keep water out of the hubs. Bye, bye... I'll get some pics up when I clean up my garage a bit!!

Thats and understatement, Im surprised you can afford to work on your truck at the same time.

Are you going to use an open or closed knuckle Dana44?
High pinion or standard?

Well, I'm not! It is sitting in the garage and getting more and more crap piled on top of it!
High pinion, 5.13's, ARB, high steer, alloy shafts and superjoints eventually. What is the differrence between open and closed knuckle? Came off of an F-150 if that answers your quesiton. Have a set of King coilovers to go on as well!

Open knuckle has visible U joints on the axle shafts, Closed knuckle looks like a yota axle with CV's.

Nope. I ditched the Waggy 44 and went with a full width Ford high pinion. Definitely open knuckle. I'll have a full width 9" out back with 5.13's, Moser pinion support, a Detroit, 35 spline alloy shafts, discs and a few other extras.

It is really luck of the draw. There doesn't seem to be any "universal" enforcement going on. Just depends on the mood of the cop.
