more flex for cheap

my budy at work told me that if u round the ends of your leaf springs that you can geat more flex. has anyone ealse herd of this. he said he read it in a offroad magazen

like in the shape of a hafe cicle instead of squar. like the one that rough country sells

I dont think so.

If you want more flex out of your leaf springs, bend the leaf clamps up and either weld a peice of metal on top or drill a hole and put a bolt thru it. Your springs will be able to droop maybe an inch or two more.:beer:
