ok so I am overhauling my 97 xcab. I dove into the rear axle today and part of that was replacing the rear brake shoes. I pulled them off went to napa got some shoes and started reinstalling them Everything is back in, however I am having a problem with the prawn. The adjustment cable comes down from the top no problem, but there does not seem to be any "tension" spring to keep it pulled down slightly. So once the adjuster gear rolls a bit, the prawn slides off. The haynes manual shows a completly different prawn then I have that utilizes a tension spring. but it cleary states that the pic is for 93-94 years and 95 and later models will be "similar" lol.
I'm sure the answer is obvious but I can not see it.
