Hi all, I have a 90 Ranger XLT with the 4.0 L V-6 and an auto tranny. I'm just about to turn 100K on the odometer and was thinking I need to take the truck in to have the tranny flushed, etc.
I was just wondering how good the stock tranny is? I mean, if I can afford it, am I better off having the tranny worked on and made stronger? I'm not doing any rock climbing and the engine is stock, I will just be doing SUV/cow-trailing type of stuff, just thinking ahead before I find out I should have done this or that.
If I am better off having some modifications done, would do I need to have done?
