like the title says i got a 2004 ford ranger xlt, regular cab, 4x2, 3.0 auto (75k). my last vehicle was a 2003 mitsubishi galant 2.4l sedan, so this is big change for me. this isnt my first truck, or ranger for that matter. it is however the first one i feel proud of, lol. just for laughs here is small list of the trucks ive had in my five years of driving legally.
1970 f-100 custom 302 auto - body rusted away
1969 f-350 converted into a log truck w/ a 390 - 4 speed - sold
1988 b2200 I4 stick - warped head - sold
1993 ranger I4 stick - tree fell on it during a tornado
1968 c10 flatbed 350 auto - sold
1968 c10 pickup fuel injected 350 4 speed - sold
its safe to say i come from a ford family.
anyway, i'll be lurking around and i want to thank everyone for info already posted and info yet to be posted. i usually take the "if its not broke, don't fix it" approach, but in a few months after i get this thing paid off, i might decide to customize a bit.
