well ive been busy these past few weeks.. buddy gave me the idea to do something with my diff cover so i decided to build some guards.. built them for the 7.5s an 8.8s.. since the weather is getting nicer out deiced to put my system back in an wheels back on.. took a few pics.. i redid the amps black wrinkle instead of orange.. i think they fit Much better. the splash build up has begun as well have the front end all apart .

It's a good thing you don't wheel that truck too hard cuz that guard would be all sorts of mangled if it saw normal trail use.
 
well its better than nothing over the composite cover...

It's definitely one of a kind and it is always nice to see someone building their own stuff.

That is super cool dude, I doubt I would wheel it, but I would definitely spend some lunch money on it if I had a DD worthy of attention.
 
I trashed composite and sheetmetal covers like a 2-year-old trashed underwear. Then I put on a TRS cover made out of 1/4" plate. Hopefully Joel Haywood and company will be getting back into that for you. There's a lot of rocks and stumps with headaches since I've been running with this cover. I have 31s and I keep up so you know all the pieces on the bottom of the truck are part of the strategdy.

It's like they told us in boot camp-every marine is a basic rifleman first.

Every part of the undercarriage is a tire first.
