No it doesn't fit right out of the box on a ranger, and i doubt that the frame rails on an f150 are the same as a 98-03 Ranger, but at less than $30.00 it's good place to start.

Just buy it and mod it to fit. I just used half an I-beam (dont know what they are called but it looked like this [ ) that was about 1/2" thick, cut it down to size and welded it to my frame rials then welded the receiver hitch to it with some bracing.
