Does anyone have a link or a writeup for the installation of new adjustable bushings?
l put a 2" poly spacre to level my truck out and now it cannot be aligned. So instead of paying $250+ for an alignment and bushing install l am looking to install them myself.
l have plans to order the Moog K8986, but want to make sure l know how to put them in and make sure it isnt too difficult.
Or does anyone know if they come with install instructions?
Thanks in advance

there is a c=clip on top, remove it... then, you will see a bolt that clamps the bushing in. undo the bolt pry up on it, pb blaster is your best friend! you will need analignment to get the right bushings and degree-position for the bushing. pretty easy, but it will need an allignment machine.

My credo
it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
drive a chisel in the pinch slot just enough to spread it visibly.....

get a bind on the adjuster and tap the joint on the top....my adjustables are also split and come out real easy.

Are you talking about before or after the install of the new bushings?
The Moog K8986 are adjustable for a pretty large range, right?

both! they need to put it on the machine to check what bushings you will need. i was lucky enough to work in a car dealer, it only cost me a $5 pizza! but they will probly only charge you for one allignment.
