I'm about to make myself a snorkel ...

Anyone with an engineering/engine building background can/want to recommend a dimension?

For performance reasons, I want to make it as big as necessary ... but not sure what "as big as necessary" is. 2"? 2.5"? 3"? Don't want it to look silly either!:secret:. Wouldn't mind putting an ARB pre-cleaner on top ... but couldn't find the dia. of the damn thing (only the outer diameter).

I suppose I could ballpark it at 15-25% larger than the intake (past the airbox) since it is such a long and curvy transit ...

edit - nevermind, got my answer right here in this thread http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14612&page=2 from MuddyCowboy
I guess 2.5" is the minimum, 3" would be better
