Im sorry for spamming up the forum guys but i need your help !

im gettin really confused here.. sorry... but is it possible to put the mustnag t-5 up to the 4.0 sohc i just need to hear yes or no... my confussion started now that i got the motor and the t-5... im not worried about the bellhousing or anything im now worried about the flywheel matching up with the clutch, (i still dont buy the flywheel)i was told on another thread i posted that the 4.0 ohv flywheel is difrent:c-n: "the bolt pattern and the balancing or somthing like that

Anybody seen a 4.0 sohc with a t5 tranny??

Anybody want me to keep the build posted with pics?

Never heard of a T-5 behind a SOHC. What so wrong with a M5OD ??

yes, and as I posted in another thread, the newer V6 mustangs use the same SOHC 4.0L that our rangers use and come with a T5 in them. This means there is a bellhousing out there exactly for the T5 and 4.0L combination. Knowing this you can also use a flywheel and clutch set from the mustang with the T5 and 4.0L combo. The flywheel may even be the same part between the mustang and ranger 4.0L but I'm sure they both use the same 8-bolt pattern. All of these parts are out there and are a direct bolt together because they are the THE SAME engine in the mustang and ranger.

So yes, I have seen a 4.0L sohc and a T5 every time i see a V6 mustang.
