I haven't got any pictures online yet, but i need to start a construction thread for my sploder. It's the one in my sig, originally a 4.0L / A4LD / 1354E truck. Everything else stock besides some rear lift shackles and lots of miles. Saturday March 29th I pulled the entire drivetrain out.

The 4.0L needed timing cover gasket, oil pan gasket, and a rear main seal replaced. So i went ahead and put in a new timing set and oil pump. The reason to pull the motor now was to do the M50D / 1354M swap. Upgraded the clutch and PP to a Centerforce unit.

I bought a 6" BDS front lift from another local member. Once i get new rear spring plates, shocks, and brake lines the lift will be going on. Hopefully in a couple weeks.

Thanks for reading, will get pics up soon. Still gotta get everything back in and running, you know, to get to work and stuff.

I'll have to get the pictures up tomorrow, we should be pretty bored at the dealer. And I'll try and snap a few tomorrow during engine install.

As you see the timing gears suck. Last time i buy cloyes. So since i have to put another chain on it, and i have to make due without another car anyway, im going ahead and ordering everything else i need to lift it. Then it will all be done at once. Which is ok because i work with my grandma, so we can ride together.

And yea Rob, i got it flipped back over, had to use the forklift. I put a cheater bar on the handle and bent it.

as the bronco II just gets neglected? haha.

Just a sneak peak of whats to come. still waiting on perches, shock mounts, shocks, pitman, brake lines, and tires.

***UPDATE***
At 12:30 am today, it started, and ran.
No Problems and on the first turn of the key.

All i have left is mount exhaust, t-case, shifters, and front d-shaft.

I'm still waiting on drop pitman, shocks, brake lines, spring perches, and shock mounts. Hopefully all of that shows up in the next few days, so i can drive it this weekend. It's a whole different truck than it was 2 weeks ago. Going to have a lot of fun with it now.

Also, its my birthday, and i was rather excited to start it 30 minutes into my birthday.

Heading down today to finish her up. All my parts came in. So look for pics tonite of it completed. Then i gotta put some miles on her before she can take any abuse.

DROVE IT HOME. Going for an alignment tomorrow. Clutch may need bled some more and i have to replace a couple leaf spring bolts, but its DONE. No swaybars now, its kinda soft. Will post pics tomorrow after the alignment and a GOOD washing. Theres oil on fenders and all over underneath. 5-speed is great, probably the easiest part of the whole job.
