84 b2 dash and gauges and 94 4.0 motor. I have searched and have only found post telling me to swap dashes. I really love the gen 1 dash and want to keep it. I have zero gauges now anyone have a color code for the wires that I need to hook up to make them work?

I used an ohms meter to figure out what wire was what... looked in haynes manuals for both vehicles and just made it work. I'm like you, I like the 1st gen dash.. plus I did the swap not knowing about TRS even existing... so, yeah, I didn't know it'd be easier to swap dashes lol
I wish I made a wiring diagram, so many could have used it... Just take your time and make it work.

IDK about the 94 wiring harness for the 4.0 or the 84 Dash, but I used a 91 harness in my 88 and the only thing that didn't match up color wise was my neutral safety, clutch, and backup lights switches.. All of the gauges had the same color wires.
