ok so i recently picked up a 99 ranger with a bad motor and bought a 4.0 from a 93 ranger to swap. i know it'll physically swap in but the 99 had an egr and the 93 doesn't. i know i can just swap every thing over from the motor im pulling but is there a way i could disable the egr and clean up the engine bay without having to mess with the computer and not get a check engine light or am i stuck running the egr set up?
