Me and my dad are getting an 87 B2 with a blown FM-145 for free, we also have a 2.3 4x4 parts ranger with a supposedly good FM-145, if we swap the bellhousings, the transmission from the 2.3 will work with the 2.9, correct? We plan on fixing up this B2 since it runs good and is in good shape and then selling it.
